By The Sword “DIY or DIE” Decks Available For Direct Mailorder On August 31 + New Mike V Store Launching.
Many of you have been writing in and asking where you can purchase the first deck released from By The Sword Skateboards. We now have an answer for you… Originally only available for purchase on The Glory Bound Skatepark Tour, the remaining decks are going to be available for direct mailorder beginning August 31st at 12am PST. Only 43 decks remain and they’re sure to sell quickly, so be sure to have that credit card or Paypal account ready to go.
Also launching at the same time will be the brand new Mike V webstore. Besides the “DIY or DIE” decks, other items that will be available will be the limited edition Mike V x Battle Commander deck, Glory Bound tour shirts, Mike V/By The Sword shirts, Mike V & The Rats cds, Revolution Mother merchandise and more.
Mike V To Participate In The Fedorin Cup Charity Hockey Game This Saturday.
This Saturday, August 28th, Mike V will be playing in the Fedorian Cup charity hockey game in Anaheim, CA.
The Fedorin Cup was established in 1998 when Eric Fedorin was diagnosed with brain cancer. In honor of his memory and support of his family, ASFA recognizes many that continue to battle this devastating disease. ASFA will donate a portion of all proceeds to Hockey Fights Cancer and offer grants to athletes in need.

Mike V Is Everywhere.
Mike V has been recently spotted in Orlando, FL and Los Angeles, CA.
While on a recent vacation the Tomesch family spotted Mike, not once, but twice at The City Walk at Universal Studios. The first picture is of a huge sign featuring Mike doing a frontside ollie in Arizona and the second shot is from the Make It Count Element story that was playing inside the Element Store.
An autographed Mike V deck was recently spotted inside the Sirius Faction Radio studio in Los Angeles.

Glory Bound Tour: Day 32 & 33.
Ladies and gentlemen… The Glory Bound Tour is in the history books! We’ve arrived back in California and no worse for the wear. Mike has pushed on to Malmo, Sweden to compete in the Ultra Bowl II contest, as for the rest of us… A little rest and relaxation perhaps. Whatever everyone ends up doing over the next few days, here are some photos from the last two days of the tour at Skate City in Las Vegas and Skatelab in Simi Valley, California…
Day 32… Skate City in Las Vegas, NV.

Malmo Ultra Bowl II Contest Being Streamed Live To The Web.
Mike V is currently in Malmo, Sweden to compete in The Ultra Bowl II Contest and it’s being broadcast live to the web. Here are the dates and times:

Mike V To Compete In The Ultra Bowl II Contest This Weekend.
Literally hours after Mike completed the last demo of The Glory Bound Skatepark Tour, Mike headed to the airport to fly over to Malmo, Sweden to participate in the Ultra Bowl II contest. It’s all going down on this weekend… August 21 and 22.

Glory Bound Tour: Day 28, 29, 30 & 31.
The Glory Bound Tour rolls on! We’re currently westward bound with just two more demos left to go in Las Vegas, NV and Simi Valley, CA and this tour will be in the history books. Here are some photos from the last few days from St Louis, Merriam, KS, Lakewood, CO and a day off in Richfield, UT.
Bus repair blues… This damn bus keeps breaking down!
CJ has had enough and opens up a window after suffering it out on a bus with no AC.
After suffering it out in the worst heat conditions of any demo of the entire tour, the autograph session spilled out to the parking lot below Ramp Riders in St Louis. The lady in red had Duane Peters autograph her ankle to get tattoo’d on her the next day.
The DIY spirit lives on with the homemade DIY or DIE t-shirt.

The debut of the “Nomad Shower.” The Louder Than Hell guys soaping up and hosing down Danforth for his first shower of the entire tour.
