While dining at Wahoo’s Fish Taco in the Crystal Court at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA a few night ago, I spotted three vintage Mike V “Lightning Bolt” stickers from 1997. I wonder how long these have been stuck up in their stickered out decor?

First up in this installment of Mike V Is Everywhere are two video from Affliction filmed at last month’s Musink Festival. First up is an interview with Mike about By The Sword, the Legends Skate Jam and all things tattoos.



The second video focuses exclusively on the Legends Skate Jam and has a great interview with Mike V, Christian Hosoi and Duane Peters.



Next up are two recent Mike V postings in the blogosphere. First up is a trip back in time via the Vert Is Dead blog where they have scanned and posted up on old TV Skateboards ad (Mike V and Ed Templeton’s old company). CLICK HERE to be able to view a larger image of the ad.

Transworld Skateboarding just posted up this video of Ed Tempelton at the opening of his art show, a photo exhibit entitled, “The Seconds Pass.” Hear Ed explain how he got the name for the show from Mike Vallely, the story behind some of the pieces and more, just before the opening night. The exhibit runs until April 3rd at the Roberts & Tilton Gallery..

The Chrome Ball Incident has scanned and posted up the second “A Street Symposium” article by GSD from Transworld Skateboarding Magazine from 1990. 20 years ago… time flies! The article features interviews with all the greatest street skaters of the day which includes Mike V, Ray Barbee, Mark Heintzman, Matt Hensley, Frankie Hill, Tom Knox, Jason Lee, Shawn Martin, Steve Saiz, Danny Sargent and Sean Sheffey.
