Hello everyone. This is Larry checking in with you all to get everyone up to speed with everything going on in Mike V’s World. We launched this new website back in January and it’s been a lot of fun creating and posting up all this content to share with everyone and we appreciate all the comments and emails that you guys have sent it. We want this website to be as interactive as possible. Hopefully everyone has been able to keep up with all the blog posts and it hasn’t been overwhelming.

We’re getting ready to hit the road tomorrow to do the Zumiez signings so we’ll probably be offline for a day or so while we travel so I thought I’d take this time to hit you guys with some news and recap some of the highlights from the site so far. Here we go…

ZUMIEZ

Starting this Friday Mike will be appearing at 6 Zumiez Stores in the Midwest and Northeast and these events are not to be missed! All the dates, cities, locations and times can be found right here, on the TOUR DATES page. We will be extensively documenting everyday with our classic photo blogs so stay tuned right here for daily updates from the road. Hope to see you all out there!

Since launching this site in January we have begun to repost some of Mike’s classic video parts on his YouTube Channel. For those you you who have been requesting videos for us to upload, hang tight, we’ll be getting to them all eventually. Besides uploading some of the classics we have created some brand new videos for you guys as well. The response to the new videos have been great and we appreciate all the views and comments. MIKE VALLELY / BY THE SWORD

Mike’s new band has begun to play out in Southern California. Mike Vallely / By The Sword is kicking off their career performing their Black Flag tribute set (with a few other punk classic thrown in) and the crowds have been getting rowdier and rowdier with each show. How much longer the band will be performing this great tribute set is anyone’s guess but the next time you can see it is April 10th in Irvine, CA. More info on that show can be found on the TOUR DATES page. Be sure to check out this great video of the band performing “Nervous Breakdown” from their first show on February 12th. We’ve also got coverage of all their shows so far right here on the website so just dig around a bit and you’ll see it.
