Even after severely breaking his leg in 2005, Mike V has never slowed down. His commitment to skateboarding and to the skateboard community has always been a priority for him as evidenced by his critically acclaimed TV Series on Fuel TV DRIVE:



Admittedly, Mike’s ability to physically recover from his injury has been a long and hard fought battle but he enters 2010 in the best shape of his career and with a focus and energy for his skating like never before. If these recent videos are any indication the best is truly yet come:





Says Mike V, “I’m excited about skating at a level again that matches my enthusiasm and passion for skateboarding. It’s been tough to feel the energy but not always be able to physically match it on my board. Having music and other outlets to plug into has been great but nothing matches or replaces skating and never will. I’ll never be just a one-dimensional skater, I’ll always follow my own path and pursue other passions, but skateboarding is who I am and always will be. I’m just glad to be back on my board and feel 100%.”

Look for 2010 to be a heavy year of Mike V related skating appearances, starting this weekend in Orange County at Musink for the “Legends Skate Jam.”
