We had an interesting package show up in our mailbox today… Powell Peralta shipped down eight different, full size colorway proofs of ideas for the next colorway of Mike’s reissue deck.

I like the back and grey one. Of course I’d be riding it and not hanging it on my wall, but it has an elegance and dignity and makes the graphic pop. Number two is also cool and has a hint of classic Ray Bones Powell Peralta going for it.

1-3-7 are the best ones …the elephant seems with a lot more light
in the others is to dark and you miss the details.

Deck Colorway #3. That was the color that I had when I skated that deck as a kid.

Although I am very fond of #3 … I am going to have to go with #1.
I just received mine in the mail yesterday. First colourway is like #3 silver with blue elephant but red Vallely like #7. This Powell Perelta release out beats the Classic version and is a must have for any collector that can’t afford the original. The graffic is flawless and only has slight differences from the original. Mainly the color of the Powell Perelta letters and the word reissue. Find it and buy yours for sure. I Love it.
