“When I was a kid, before I started skateboarding, I dreamed of being like Elvis Presley or KISS and also someday becoming a stuntman. I always saw professional wrestling as the ultimate combination of the two dreams.”
“I grew up watching wrestling on TV, reading wrestling magazines at the grocery store and going to see professional wrestling matches with my dad at the local high school gymnasium. Even after I started skating I always followed the world of professional wrestling.”
“When wrestling exploded in the mid-nineties I became a huge Mick Foley fan and still am to this day. Here was a guy that made you feel proud to be a wrestling fan.”
“When the opportunity to get involved in some independent wrestling matches came about in 2000 and 2001, I was all about it and I had a lot of fun doing it.”
“I’ve always preferred the more hardcore or violent matches and that is the style I brought to the ring.”
“At that time I started getting offers from promotions all over the country and the world, including Korea and Japan, to get more involved in the professional wrestling world. Crazy.”
“If the opportunity to get involved in the wrestling world ever resurfaced, I’d be all about it. I still love the sport and I still think that next to skateboarding it’s the ultimate marriage of rock n roll and balls.”
